Chilli chicken

As salaam alaykum. So as promised here’s the recipe!

Super easy and delicious! 


  • Chicken 600 gms (use how much ever you want and adjust spices accordingly)
  • Green bell peppers (1 medium sized)
  • Onions (2 medium sized chopped)
  • Olive oil 
  • Tomato puree ( 2 big tomatoes)
  • Spring onions (chop a few )
  • Black pepper powder (1/2 tsp)
  • Chilli powder (1 tsp)
  • Tandoori chicken powder (2 tsp)
  • Garam masala powder (1 tsp)
  • Curry leaves( a few of them)
  • Tumeric powder (1/2 tsp)
    Cilantro ( chop a few leaves)
  • Ginger garlic paste (2 tsp)
  • Green chillies (2 chopped)Salt (to taste)
  • Salt (to taste)

  • Cilantro ( chop a few leaves)


Heat a wok and add 3 tsp of olive oil. Add in the curry leaves and green chillies and then add onions, saute for 5 mins then add in a pinch of salt (to fasten the process). 

Now add in ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes off. Now add in your chicken and mix well. Let it cook for 5 mins, then add the tumeric powder, black pepper powder, chilli powder and tandoori chicken powder. Mix well. Add a bit of water so as to not let it burn. Cook for 10 mins on medium to low heat. 

Add in the spring onions and tomato puree, add in salt and the green bell peppers. (Add water if you want to make a curry out of it otherwise keep stirring in between) Mix and let it cook for 10 mins on low heat. 

Add in the Garam masala powder and cilantro. After 2 mins switch off the flame and serve hot.
